A few weeks ago, in the middle of this, an email from Lara, the editor of Mollie Makes, landed in my inbox inviting me to be one of the mamas featured in the new bookazine, Mollie Makes Mama. The call to action to stop moping around and get working (nothing like a short deadline to get the adrenaline pumping), it was a fab opportunity to tidy up the studio from its utterly catastrophic state of Deadline House* and capture the space before we leave it in the spring.
I am one of the "Tea and a Chat with..." people, with lots of studio photos, plus pics of the kids and I and an interview.
(lots more studio photos in the magazine!)
The issue was guest-edited by Jazz Domino Holly and it is really lovely. There are a couple of crafts even I, the most crafting with kids adverse crafter I know, want to make, plus lovely features on Becci Orpin, Emily Quinton and Kirsty Hartley, to name a few.
Mollie Makes Mama is out now and available in WHSmith, WHS Travel, Co-Op, Easons and Tesco. It's also available to preorder. Oh and check out the digital sampler for a glimpse inside.
